Linda Bilda. Amor vincit omnia
The Viennese artist Linda Bilda intervened early on in her career in public space with her fearless activities. She founded several journals, produced comics and provocative paintings, organised reading and discussion circles, invented new open air imaging techniques and held international patents for a major invention, which she called LightGlass. In her work, she strives for an “emancipatory pictorial policy”. The urgency and the claim for social changes in the artist's work are to be shown in this first comprehensive anthology. The present publication appears at the same time as the retrospective in the Lentos Art Museum Linz.
