This book is the first comprehensive monograph about the oeuvre of Albanian artist Edi Hila. It was published in conjunction with the retrospective exhibition “Edi Hila: Painter of Transformation”, which took place in 2018 in Warsaw and Tirana and was curated by Joanna Mytkowska, Kathrin Rhomberg, and Erzen Shkololli. The monograph reproduces a large part of Hila’s drawings and paintings, accompanied by essays by renowned theoreticians Éric de Chassey, Adam Szymczyk, and Edi Muka.
