2019/2020

The resident professors throughout this year’s program were David Maljković and Kate Sutton in addition to WHW itself as core faculty. The two resident professors collaboratively developed a mentoring program, held regular meetings with the participants, and led group and individual critique sessions, while WHW provided mentoring support throughout the process. In addition, Sanja Iveković conducted a masterclass for the participants held on a monthly basis. The guest professorships were occupied by Banu Cennetoğlu, DAAR (consisting of Sandi Hilal and Alessandro Petti), and Manuel Pelmuş, each of whom conducted a two-week workshop consisting of both collective work and individual critiques with the participants.
The program also included seminars led by WHW and based on the works in the Kontakt Collection as well as various seminars led by international and local theorists and artists. Participants were invited to shape parts of the program by proposing collaborations and developing associations with local artists, cultural workers, and initiatives.
