Examination of the archive of Marcus Geiger has produced a first-ever overall impression of this artist’s output to date. It documents Geiger’s artistic thinking as well as his works, in which shifts, omissions, and unexpected breaks serve to alter the viewer’s perspective on urban and institutional space while defying the mechanisms by which their value and significance could be maximized. An important part of this archive consists of designs, drawings, sketches, photographs, and both press and documentation materials.
