In 1967, in Ružomberok, where Milan Adamčiak was teaching cello, he met the violinist Róbert Cyprich. Their shared interests were to culminate in getting together for the “First Evening of New Music” in Ružomberok’s Dom osvety in 1969. Before this event, the group Ensemble comp. (Adamčiak, Cyprich, Jozef Ravallo) formed, out of the earlier group pan (pro arte nova). M.Mu.
