Alongside his inclination toward forms of musical notation, Milan Adamčiak wrote a great many texts and prepared the pilot issue of a new art magazine entitled “Experiment” in 1969. Vincent Šabík had been chosen as its editor-in-chief, and the first issue was set to feature texts by Max Bense, Milan Knížák, Ladislav Kupković, Ladislav Novák, Jiří Valoch, and Ponto—a Brazilian group of experimental artists. The first issue was also to include a supplement containing an experimental poem by Josef Honys, who died a few days before the planned printing date. And when the appointed day arrived, Adamčiak was informed that the magazine would not be published at all. W.S.
