The two reworked sonograms, both photocopied sheets of A4 paper, represent differing approaches. The first shows a rhythmic structure with numbered sections including time indications, with Decristel having schematically sketched out the movement of a foot in keeping with the music’s meter. In the second sonogram, Decristel placed the visualization lines for his Jew’s harp music plus the foot-scheme on top of a 30-line text from a reading, in this way condensing poetic language, performance directions, and a serial musical and rhythmic structure.
